tufts university’s academic quad (“the green”), including the goddard chapel, ballou jall, and the flag pole

tufts’ academic quad - january 22, 2002

the academic quad (a.k.a. “the green”) at tufts was a great place to play with a new toy of mine, a wide-angle lens. one of the issues with the lens (and with many wide-angle lenses) is the fact that the edges are a bit, well, gooey. for example, check out the flagpole: it’s perpendicular to the ground, but is distorted by the lens. eh well. if i can get 180 degrees of life in a photo, i can deal with a little distortion.
