there are some roads in portugal on which you’ll turn a corner (hairpin turns, of course), and come across a gorgeous scene such as this. it’s not that you don’t come across these scenes in other locales, it’s just that for me, this has happened more in the hills of portugal than anywhere else. this is one of my favorite analog shots.
